A couple of things to highlight in this update are;B-131 truck reinstated.It’s the return of the infamous B-131 truck that was once present in the game as a certified mod - its now available in the core game as a stock vehicle.Weather effect improvements.The weather system (aka, rain) has been moved to the camera. Previously the weather was centred on the truck. The big advantage of centring the weather on the camera is that the weather no longer needs a truck to exist (like on the main menu) for it to work. It’s also a stepping-stone towards implementing a free-roam camera!We’ve also made it rain less frequently, as requested.We acknowledge that people are requesting that the rain should have an impact on the ability to traverse mud, along with visually appearing to make things wet. This is quite a time-consuming task and we must consider multiplayer synchronisations. All of this is coming in a later iteration of the weather system. The Dynamic Weather system adds an atmosphere to the game that was missing before, watch as the wind blows dust and leaves across the landscapes - there is no shelter from the rain as it comes down hard on your tin roof, making it even more of a challenge to traverse the Russian-wilderness.Keep an eye out for the update coming very soon.
